Methods II- Week 2
1.) The big question addressed in lab, and a description of what you did. We talked about how to ensure a race is exciting, and how to make one exciting. In our table groups we all were given the task to create a race that we would then race against someone else and make it so that both racers cross at about the same time. My group chose to speed walk and we were against someone who was just plainly walking. It was a race down 8m and when they reached 4m that’s when I started to speed walk. Thus, putting us at about the same time at the finish line. (Walking at opposite ends as well.) 2.) A description of what you learned in Thursday's lecture. We touched a lot on different little things, but I remember vividly It being, measuring speed, distance, and time. We talked on how to communicate clearly about motion, we need standard units.
